Four writers. Four stories. One Plot.

The Project

Bongo Reef’s next HD film short drama project is set entirely on an allotment. Following on from Taxi, we are currently seeking 4 x 3min scripts from four different writers, which will then be cut together to make a single film short.

The plan is to shoot in September 2008, then submit the film to worldwide

festivals and seek cinematic/broadcast distribution.

Screenwriters

The guidelines of the commission competition are simple. The four films must be complete stories, must be set entirely on an allotment, have a small cast (no children or pets or aliens), no SFX and no elaborate props. Basically we are looking for great, original, dialogue driven snapshots of life, written by people who are keen to explore a working relationship with Bongo Reef Pictures.

A small upfront fee will be paid to the four successful writers, plus deferred

full fee, percentage share of profits and a DVD copy of the film.
